THE PHOENIX
The phoenix is a Mythical beast that dwells in Arabia; the bird�s origin is in Egypt under the rule of Ra the sun god, and in Greece under the command of the sun god Apollo. The Phoenix is a great bird that can only live for a certain time, when its time is up it will build a large nest for itself and consumes the nest in flame, it sits there and burns to death and from its ashes is created a red egg, in this is a new born Phoenix, there can only be one Phoenix at any time because they must die to reproduce. It was said to be a weapon of Ra used to scorch the armies of his enemies with its flamy breath and to heal the wounds of his own army, the bird could also carry any severely wounded men off the battle field to safety to heal them, but when it died, Ra was overrun by the armies of Seth, the evil Egyptian god, but Osiris helped his son and brought about a plague to consume the whole army, this made Seth hate his brother Osiris and kill him. When the Phoenix was reborn and fully grown again it was sent to torture Seth for all eternity, Seth was only freed when the Phoenix died, and for 3 years each time he raised his army and destroyed all for those three years each time until his brother was resurrected to life.
