For all of you who have spawned aggressive pets, there is now a new trick you can teach them. Before now, the creature would attack players immediately as they arrived. But now you can have them do something 1st, and even delay the attack.
To control the attack, put a whyattack block on your creature. The aggro1 material will call it. You may print something relavent, using $actor as the creature and $target as the poor player about to be pounced.
You may also set $attackdelay to the number of seconds before the attack begins.
For example:
##whyattack:
print "[$actor] glares at [$target] and says, 'Leave now or I shall attack!'";
call "do taps his feet, still glaring at [$target]",20;
call "say I'm warning you for the last time, go away!",40;
$attackdelay = 60;
