Those heady days of any creation taking on its named materials willy-nilly are gone.
Materials are much to serious and important to be flippantly assigned to an object as some random persons whim, so now you need to use classes before materials can be assigned.
I will type this very quickly so you can skip over it if you are not interested:
- Create a class called frog
- give it the materials you want frogs to inherit, maybe "_hopper_|_living_|_ribbit_"
- make sure each of those materials is present and correct and relevant to frogs
- paint your class called frog a pretty frog colour
- now every time someone create a frog it wil be coloured and materials as per your class.
(materials have thankfully been fixed so they are cleaned and uniformly delimited, front and back, if you were wondering)
Im not sure if wolis will make some retrograde command that re-applies materials to previously objects based on newly created classes but Im pretty sure something will happen.. as it always does.
I am pretty sure the renaming of objects will somehow incorporate this new classiness..and get an overhaul in the process (you know the old plural problem) as the read the command called build has recently undergone.
