You are looking at a dispersal day

Today, 5 Dec 2006, has officially been named National Dispersal Day (or NDD for short) as today is the firsy day evey tickhour has been spread out (or dispursed) across an hour without conflict, overlapping, lightning or any other unpleasantries.

This will mean little to most people but to wolis, the inventer if dispersals, this is Big News.
"I woke up and check the logs" ranted wolis "and not a single bottleneck of tickhours had taken place over the last 24 hours."

So let everyone rejoice in the knowledge that their objects are tickhouring at regular hourly intervals but not all at once each hour.

This wont stop you from seeing the occasional lightning in the top bar next to the list of logged in users.. but since you as a real live human beaing with priority access to cow, this wont be an issue for you iether. Type away as you watch the lightning!

Naturally if you do have problems with tickhour or lightning, let us know.. the Daily COW is allways on the lookout for some good gossip.
