From the arcane library: Zulphur's research continues to pay off, as he has now unlocked additional enchantments within the enigmatic talismans. Unfortunately, some of them require more magical power than attainable at this time. He plans to study more to see if there is some way to remove the 2nd barrier of advancement.
Other changes:
Rumour has it Wolis entrusted Thorn with the ability to delve into and manipulate areas of the metaphysical that are not his own, and of course he could not leave such a power alone. So he has gone and changed the look of the realm in a subtle way. If you are in a room that has info written on it and look, you will not only see the objects, but also examine the info.
Thorn has put info on many of his rooms. For example, goto jerry. look and notice you can now see how the room looks.
Once he did that, Thorn realized he didn't have an easy way to remember which of his rooms he wrote in and which he didn't, so he added a new feature called detect boring. This will check the room and objects (even if they are hidden) and if you own them, will tell you if you forgot a few things that otherwise would have made them more interesting.
