When I first came here and saw how easy it was to make objects and build things, I naturally wanted to breathe a little life into my creations and interact with them like many of the fascinating things I saw out in the COW pastures.
So I checked out COWScript and tried my hand at it. My first script was an angry man that I built as I went through the scripting lessons. All he did was pick random objects in the room and string together random parts of speech to spew out random insults. Following the lessons was easy, and straying from them into variation was very enjoyable.
With COWScript, it is so easy to give your creations power. It can transform your corner of the world to a virtual experience that reacts to visitors.
As a builder, you can make a beautiful house and put a lot into it, but as a scripter you can add so much more: Servants that create refreshments for guests by request, maids that clean up after them, pets that perform tricks when they ask them, appliances and devices that hum and whirl busily when they use them.
Now I do realize that full understanding of COWScript may be hard, so try taking the easy path and take each lesson one by one, try variations, experiment, and before you know it you'll be taking the C in COW to the next level...
