Hi Josh, here is the design brief for the website.
You would have noticed the base for it is already setup.
Please read this brief carefully
All images to be:
- bright, warm cheerful, happy
- created on new layers over body.gif and or other gifs so anti-alias is correct
- saved in native PSP format with the word _base in the filename so we can re-make as need be
- finally saved as gif with transparent background
Order of importance:
Get all static images done first then work on animated images.
We will only do one animated image first to see that it works before doing others, but feel free to sketch ideas.
Be prepared for me to say, 'can you do that again with/without....' your first drawings probably wont be the final ones.
Static Images:
[ ] sun
[ ] tree_top
[ ] tree_trunk - repeating vertically on left hand side (nav sits over the tree)
[ ] tree_bottom
[ ] grass - prepeating horizontally along bottom
Animated items:
- will be similar to putt-putt - spin as mouse moves over, or pops up, or drops off screen etc..
- possible ideas, pelase think of some too:
- smilling sun yawns when mouse moves over
- apple in tree falls down the screen
- bunny ops across the grass
- ladybird crals up and down tree
- bird flies across sky
- clouds drift across sky
The OoG:
- this is a small cute creature that will appear on all kid specific pages
- possibly animated to blink, move arms jump, walk scross grass
- large eyes, large head, small body, small nose
- not a specific creature like a dog or cat, possibly an alian type creature but must be very cute
- I thought the name (OoG) is a good start - O and G as eyes with the small o as a nose
