You are looking at many info about locking and unlockings

Locking and unlocking objects with oher objects.

You can lock objects with key-type objects this way:
build a kitchen
create a small key
lock the kitchen with the key

or
create a private diary
create a thin pencil
lock the diary with the pencil

As you can see this is an advanced form of locking objects so they can not be tampered with (Im thinking of change this to glue to save confusion.. but not right now)

You can not go into the kitchen now until it has been unlocked like this:
unlock the kitchen with the key

The doorway object on the inside of the kitchen will also be locked (as the two are quantemly entangled - or linked)

You can not examine or read the private diary unless is has been unlocked with the pencil.

You can ONLY unlock things with the exact same object that locked it. There is only ever one key to one locked object.

Please note I use door and key lightly, you could just as easily lock a telescope with the shoe then the shoe becomes the key to the telescope.

Trying to go into or read a locked object will result in a mesage informing you that its locked and what the key object is.. so you may want to hide your keys. This makes the quest for a key a bit easier as you at least know what key object you are searching for, you just may not be able to find it.

If you own the locked object you dont need to unlock it first, you can just read or go theough it as if it wee unlocked.

If you delete the key object then your stuck.. the object can never be unlocked.. well almost never. Skillful manipulation of slots 2 and 3 and the door object's link will crack the lock if required. Maybe someone will invent a sceleton key

I have just realised that the other side of a doorway needs ot be locked or unlock as well.. I will work on this shortly.
