May 25 was the date of a fabulous Toga Party! Everyone was required to where a toga or they could not participate.
The party featured music, food, drink, and other random things as the participants saw fit (poking holes in peoples drinks before they got a refill).
The styles people used in their togas varied wildly from the traditional toga to a semi-traditiona one to a sheet just thrown around the person, and if I had a camera I would put them right here, but I don't.
Most people clumped together and just started to chat after a while, ignoring most of everything else (except for the occasional picture, and boy, were there a lot of pictures taken).
The food was great. It included giant slices of pizza, and a favorite of all, Hostess (tm) Cupcakes!!!!
The music was good also, with loud rock for the metalheads, and other varing types of music for everyone else.
The surprising thing was that the party didn't get out of control like others have done. So everyone could enjoy the whole party.
When it ended, many people just ripped off their togas and stuffed them away. But there were the occasional few who had true toga spirit and kept their togas on for the rest of the day.
All in all, the toga party was a huge hit, and will be remembered for a long time by all who participated.
