You are looking at a thick plot for xiii

Hmmm.. this is interesting.

1. test.pl works
2. mysql_check_tables.pl doesnt (but atleast returns the page header and all as text)
3. ok.. let try running test.pl and capturing its output and using that..
4. ok.. lets check apache docs and use their 'hello world' script.. no go.
5. hmm.. lets copy test.pl and change it slightly.. oh! it works.. hmm

So its not a user permissions thing, its something more sinister to do with how headers are processed.. and use CGI seems to make it work..

I have just re-worked mysql_check_tables.pl to use the same start and end stuff as test.pl and it works a treat! woo hoo..

but.. doing the same to cowxiii.pl does not help :-(

Well. actually it takes a million ears to display the logon page the a bizillion ears happs before I giev up and think it wone go any further.

Maybe because I remove the TYPE=MyISAM from the tables its in go-slow mode accessing MySQL? oh.. quick re-check of cow.sql and I left it on the ojects table.. oh dear me.....

OK.. now I stop and see if maverick has any helpful suggestions :-)
